Peter Sistare, Owner:
Peter Sistare has 40 years of experience in aviation including maintenance, flight crew, and management. He has worked in the turbine aircraft maintenance industry through capacities ranging from A&P mechanic to Vice President of Maintenance and Operations. Peter is a licensed pilot, type rated to fly various aircraft. In 2012, Peter and Pat created Carolina Aviation Technical Services to fill a need for top quality maintenance at a reasonable cost. Peter works closely with each aircraft to ensure timetables are maintained, component logistics are organized, and quality assurance is adhered to throughout the process.

Jon Berthy, Parts Manager:
Jon Berthy comes to aviation maintenance from working in automotive maintenance with 34 years of experience. Through is time in the automotive industry, Jon has held positions as a diesel mechanic, lead technician, and general manager. In September 2019, Jon joined Carolina Aviation Technical Services as the Parts Manager. Jon has extensive experience and knowledge regarding all aspects of maintenance. He manages all parts and tools, aids with production and maintenance schedules, and assists with quality control.

Seth Hunt, General Manager:
Seth Hunt has years of aviation experience through his career in aircraft maintenance. Seth joined Carolina Aviation Technical Services in April of 2019. After his time as an A&P mechanic and shop lead, Seth became General Manager at C.A.T.S. in March of 2025. Seth is a skilled mechanic who quickly advanced in the company through his high standards and commitment to quality work.
